Margaret Farmer is a 15 year East Boston resident and community leader with a record of improving development, transportation and other neighborhood issues in Jeffries Point. As President of the Jeffries Point Neighborhood Association she has been successful in bringing diverse constituencies together to address core needs of the community.

In her professional life, Margaret is Director of Development for North Suffolk Mental Health Association, a local non-profit providing critical mental health, recovery, and early intervention services for 10,000 individuals and families each year. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hood College in Maryland.
